APPOINTMENT POLICIES
Reminders about appointments are sent to every client via text message, email, or phone 48 hours before your appointment. It is your responsibility to read/listen to those reminders and if there is an issue with your appointment time, contact our office immediately to change or cancel your appointment.
We require that if you need to cancel an appointment you do so a minimum of 24 hours before the appointment start time. You may call our office at 330.343.6600 and leave a message in our general mailbox at any time of the day, even on the weekends, to cancel an appointment. All voicemails are date and time-stamped so we know exactly when you call. You can also send us an email at newlife@newlifedover.com or you may send a text to our texting line at 330.597.0066. There is no fee if you cancel your appointment greater than 24 hours before your appointment.
Each appointment with your clinician is reserved specifically for you. Our clinicians protect that appointment time for you, therefore, we never double-book appointments. Because of this if you cancel within 24 hours or you do not show up for a scheduled appointment you will be assessed a $75 late cancelation fee. Cancelations received within 24 hours of an appointment will be assessed a $75 late cancelation fee. In the event you late cancel two appointments in a row, you may be unable to reschedule.
If you do not show up for an appointment and have not contacted our office, you will be assessed a $75 missed appointment fee. In the event you miss two appointments in a row, you may be unable to reschedule.
Late cancelation and missed appointment fees are NOT insurance billable and are the responsibility of the client or parent/guardian.
